Diego & Elias

Margo and Nelson with Diego (L) and Elias (R), who played in the worship band at Amistad International, the church we attend here. They left yesterday (3/21/06) for YWAM Discipleship Training studies in Chile which will last 6 months. What a blessing it was to get to know them. Although we'll be finishing up language studies leaving before they return, we look forward to keeping in touch with them and hearing about what God does in them and through them.

Wedding

We (Nelson, Margo and Kristyn) were able to attend a wedding this past weekend. Edgar, the groom, is a Columbian friend from Amistad International, the church we've been attending, and Julie,his fiance, is from Indiana and attended the Language Institute a little while back. Needless to say, it was a great time.

Childrens Museum and Costa Rican Center for Science and Culture in downtown San Jose.

This building served as a penitentiary after constructed in 1906, but was only used for 50-60 years as such before being closed.

The wife of one of the previous presidents of Costa Rica worked to have the facility completely remodeled and converted into a modern museum for children. Very impresive... and big!

Home Sweet Home

In front of our home in San Jose, Costa Rica. Nelson's mom Olga was able to visit us in November of 2005. Accross the street from our home is a small wooded park. Our daily routine includes a 10 minute walk to school every morning which helps wake us up. (None of us are morning people.)

Cerro Punta, Panama

View from the highest point in Panama, Volcan Baru. We were able to spend a little over a week in Panama visiting with Nelson's parents, who moved back there from Indiana 7 years ago.
